This well was constructed by Geological Survey of Malaysia, Sarawak, located at Kpg. Butir, Bekenu as part of the projects under Seventh Malaysian Plan. The tube well was later converted into use for the people at Kpg. Butir or as a supplement source for the Sg. Kejapil during the low flow period
