<br/><br/> As in the Sg. Retang area and in contract to the Sg. Salan area, volcanic rocks - lavas and tuffs of acid to inter - mediate composition - are abundant in the Anak Sg. Tekam area. Andesitic rocks appear to predominate over rhyolitic rocks. Most outcrops encountered are poorly exposed and few bedding readings can be taken. Most of the beds however appear to be dipping to the NE and based on this a crude stratigraphic column is drawn.
