<br/><br/> A granite quarry in the vicinity o Bukit Perah was visited and some streams draining Gunong Perak were panned for concentrates. Altogether detail study of three rock samples from the quarry were made and 13 concentrates collected. The quarry appears to besituated along a major fault (fracture) zone trending 325.
