<br/><br/> The isolated out crops studied during the reconnaissance trip indicates that the area is underlain mainly by sandstone / shale sequence, regionally metamorphosed to varying degrees. Medium grained, biotite granite, leucocratic in parts, outcrops in the vicinity of Ayer puteh estate, along Sg. Ayer puteh and its tributaries, Sg. Patah Jenang, upper reachers of Sg. Padang, Sg. Lintang, Sg. Ayer Neroh and Sg. Tualang.
