N2  - The area mapped is the Bikam Forest Reserve which is near the north - east part of the sheet. On the topographical map ang on air photographs, this forest reserve is on ridge striking NW - SE. The highest point on the ridge is 790 feet high. The streams flow away from the flank of the rodge toward north - east or south - west. The ridge is composed of metasedimentary of metamorphic rocks. The rocks found are metasandstone, metaquartzite, chert, phyllite and graphitic schist. Below the 100 - foot contour, the area is mostly swamp
