The geology of the areas traversed is shown briefly in Figure 1. From the previous report, the southern of the sheet was underlain by shale, sandstone and bedded chert of Semanggol Formation. The northern portion of the sheet were underlain by dark flagstone shale, local interbeds of sandstone and chert of Mahang Formation. Most of concentrates and geochemical silt and water samples were collected in the areas underlain by these rocks. No in situ mineralization was observed during the trip.
