<br/><br/> This report is written in response to a letter from the Ministry pf Primary Industries (reference No.(28) dlm. KPU (3) 0:3/7/77), arising, as a result of a request by the Executive Chairman of Mud Engineering Co. Sdn. Bhd. for information on the barite deposits in Malaysia. Mud Engineering Co. Sdn. Bhd. has approval (with pioneer status) from the Ministry of Trade and Industry for the construction of a 50,000 ton milling plant for barite and beotonite in Chukai, Trengganu.
