<br/><br/> The main objective of the groundwater modelling of the Kabong area is to evaluate the hydronamies of its shallow, unconfined, sand aquifer. The computer model was calibrated to the actual water level in the Kabong well field area. The calibrated model was used to stimulate the groundwater regime under various conditions pertinent to the present problems of the extraction of water from the management of the acquifer as well as for the understanding and management of other similar shallow coastal sand acquifers of Sarawak.
