<br/><br/> An airborne spectrometric and magnetic survey over the Central Belt Project area was carried out by Compagnie Generate de Geophysique (CGG) (Clautrier, 1982). Two of the geophysical anomalies, CGG No:258 and 262, at the request of Malaysia Mining Corporation Limited, were selected for appraisal to be undertaken by the Geological Survey of Malaysia.
