<br/><br/> The Mineral Assessment Project was conceived and set up as a Development Project under the Fourth Malaysia Plan. It is based at the Geological Survey Office in Kuala Kangsar. Klian Intan is one of several areas chosen by Geological Survey for further investigation. Its aim is to locate possible primary mineralization in the environs of Klian Intan which is a well-known tin mining area.
