<br/><br/> Limestone is ore of the few industrial minerals which the state of Kedah has in abundance. Limestone is presently being exploited for use as roadmetal/concrete aggregate, marble, lime and rock chips for terrazzo titles. There are 7 quarries producing crushed limestone for roadmetal and concrete aggregate, 2 quarries producing marble blocks and 1 quarry producing crushed limestone for the manufacture of quick and hydraulic lime.
