<br/><br/> The role of groundwater as potential sources in domestic uses especially in the rural coastal region has gained pacing recognition in Sarawak. Presently, there are at least six different Groundwater Extraction Schemes currently in operation and regularly monitored by Geological Survey of Malaysia (Sarawak). The other groundwater schemes are in different stages of installation by the Public Works Department (Sarawak).
