<br/><br/> Geological mapping was done, followed by the petrography study of the rock sample under the microscope. The country rock at the study area are metasediments of the Mersing Bed are generally weathered. Quartzite and phyllite are found in the Chini 1 area. Bedding of the rocks striking 010 / 25 W are noted. Magnese resources formed as shallow-marine chemical sediments associated with massive sulphide deposits when deep anoxic water with high manganese solubility mixed with shallower oxygen baering water with low manganese solubility.
