<br/><br/> A total area of 3200km2 was designated for kaolin investigation in Johor. It stretches from Mersing to Mawai in east Johor and to Yong Peng in central Johor. The area in general is indulating. It is underlain by metasediments of Triassic to Permian age and granite of Middle to Late Triassic.
