N2  - Regional geological mapping was carried out on a scale of 1:10,000. the major rock types represented in the area are shales, tuff, limestone and quartzite. The general topographic and geologic grain of the area is north-south. Stream sediment samples were taken at a density of approximately 20 samples per square mile (yielding a total of 340samples)
