<br/><br/> In October 1963 a sample of iron-ore from Gan Seng Estate was forwarded to the Geological Survey for analysis, which showed 56.7& metallic iron. In order to check the occurance, and in particular to determine wether any higher grade material was exposed, an examination was made in December 1963.
