<br/><br/> In response to a request by the Trengganu State Economic Development Corporation, an investigation was carried out in March 1978 to determine whether the granite at Bukit Labohan could be used as dimension stone. The area investigated is an abandoned J.K.R. quarry in which granite of pink and various shades of grey colours occurs.
