<br/><br/> In early 1977 the Kedah State Development Corporation requested the Geological Survey to investigate a reported occurrence of 'silica rock' at Mukim Relau. Encik Nai Pian, a Geological Assistant, who was directed to survey the area, confirmed that it is a quartz dyke of medium size.
