<br/><br/> The object of the work was (i)to confirm by ground examination the presence of magnetic anomaly detected in the area by the aeromagnetic survey; (ii)to locate and delineate accurately as far as possible the anomalous zone; (iii)to determine the cause of the anomaly recorded; and (iv)if due to the presence of a primary orebody of magnetic iron oxide or ores of large susceptibilities, to find out the nature of it.
