<br/><br/> Kampung Rantau Abang 'A' deposit which is located of the 37th milestone Kuala Terengganu - Kuantan road occupies a total area measured reserve of 423000 tonnes. Analyses show that the silica sand is of high grade which is suitable for the manufacture of high-grade domestic and decorative glassware.
