N2  - Sand-lime bricks can be used in any construction field that would apply to first class brick. Their high strength allows construction of multi-storey buildings without concrete or steel framing. Besides, the bricks are highly decorative. Pastel colour units can be produced by adding pigment to the mix. They are also non-efflorescent  (free from reddish dust coating). This report presents the ardilability of raw materials for the manufacting of sand-lime bricks in Trengganu since the state has a long sandy coastal area
