Prospecting for bauxite in Simunjan district

<br/><br/> Punda-Nguat area is a hilly country underlain predominantly by intermediate and basic volcanic rocks probably Triassic Age. A hand auger with a total penetration depth of about 6.4m (21feet) was used in the investigation work. A total of 36 samples was collected and these are analysed for their alumina content.
