<br/><br/> Sungai Katibas in underlinedby the kapit Members of Belaga Formation. The Kapit member is composed of argillite,shale,phyllite and greywacke,deposited during Paleocene Lower E ocene time (Le ichti et al,1960).The bedding are highly deformed with folding and faulting.Overall, strike of the bedding is WSW-ENE direction with NWW-SSE dipping direction. The lineament analysis  shows that the compression force acting on the bedding is in the direction of 170c and 350c
