<br/><br/> The investigation for river sand as a source for constructional material was carried out along Batang Mukah from kuala Mukah at the river mouth to Rumah Nyangau covering a distance of 80km . a grab sampler was used to collect the samplew while the position of the sample point was determined by using global positioning system (GPS). A total of 31 sand deposits with reserve ranging from 1,500-45,000 m3 were recorded and a total reserve of 375,500m3 was estimated.
