<br/><br/> The investigation of river sand deposits of Batang Rambungan was carried out along a 10 km stretch. The global positioning system(GPS) and grab sampler wereused during the survey. A total of 11 sand deposits with a total reserve of 257550m3 were recorded. Three representative samples has been analysed for chemical and physical tests. The result indicated that the sand is generally suitable for constructional purposes.
