A reconnaissance was undertaken from May to August 1998 to assess the available tailing sand resources in Peninsular Malaysia suitable for construction purposes. This report  summarises the findings for the state of Terengganu.

Twenty five (25) tailing sand deposits in three former tin mining areas were investigated on their suitability for use as construction sand.
