| 520 | _aThe study area is covered entirely of Machincang Formation. The study was done along the coastal road of Jalan Baru Machincang. There are eight outcrops along the road side. The rocks in the study area consists mainly of interbedded metaquartzite and shale or meta siltstone. The bedding in the study area shows graded bedding, cross bedding and lamination that are formed by heavy minerals. Other structures found in the study area includes cleavages, lineation, joints, faults and folds. | ||
