520 | _aMost (24 out of 27) of the mines are working on run-of-mine ores obtainable from stanniferous alluvium/tailings overlying the calcareous facies which is made up predominantly of marble. Ore mine borders on the geologic contacts of the calcareous and argillaceous fucies, the latter is dominated by shale, schist and phyllite. Both facies made up the devonian-carboniferous calcareous series which was metamorphosed by the post-Triassic Changkat Kantan-Tronoh-Tanjung Tualang granite. The remaining two mines are sited upon alluvium overlying the Lower Triassic Segari granite. | ||
