520 _aIn the Bidor area, Perak there are no less than twelve kaolin processing plants (Aw, 1983). These processing plants, using methods ranging from simple to sophisticated produce various grades of kaolin products. The processing of kaolin is accomplished by two basic methods: (a)dry process or air-floatation, and (b)wet process or classification in water suspension. The wet process generally produces better quality products than the dry process.
