520			_aWith the aid of existing topographie map sheet ( sale 1:50,000),a tape-and-compass traverse was carried out in the area of interest (fig.2).This was with the view to identify and locate the rock outcrops and prepare a geological map of the area. The potential reserve of th stone available in the area was then estimated from the tape-and-compass traverse,the topographic map and geological map.
