The 1989 GSM-BRGM technical Cooperation Programme in the lebir block (Kelantan)-referred to as Phase 2-is a follow up of the 1988 Phase 1 operations. Under Phase 2, attention was directed towards only fives prospects, one of these bring the Sam area which is an As-Cu geochemical anomaly not previously investigated under Phase 1.
