This logging project carried out at the request of Lembaga Letrik Negara was for the purpose of knowing the absolute temperature with depth in the area since the power station of the proposed hydroelectric scheme is to be located underground and as such a knowledge of the temperature with depth is very important for the design of a proper ventilation system for the power station. Only three out of the four drillholes were logged as the fourth drillhole had collapsed at near surface.
