The landslide occurred on sunday,March 19,1995 at the foothill of Kampung Bukit Cina,Jalan Airport which is about 300cm from Kapit town.The tragedy killed a father and his adopted son whose staying in a whose staying in a wooden house which was partially destroyed by the landslip,for other occupents escaped unhurt
