| Summary, etc. | Information supplied by Land/District Offices shows that there were 760 construction sand/gravel producers in Peninsular Malaysia in 1986. Most were located in Perak followed by Terengganu and Kelantan, respectively. Despite having a leaser number of producers, Selangor/Federal Territory registered a seven-fold increase in production in 1986 to overtake Perak as the leading producer of construction sand/gravel. |
