Amang is the term for heavy detrital mineral that are discarded after cassiterite is mined from alluvium. some of the amang minerals that occur in Batang Berjuntai are ilmenite, homatite, monazite, zircon, tourmaline, xenotime, pyrite, rutile and magnetite. A small amount of cassitente is also present
