Summary, etc. Adetailed survey for kaolin, ball clay and common clay was undertaken at 37 localities in the state of Pahang, covering mainly the delta of Sungai Pahang. A single layered white firing ball clay deposit was delineated in the Sungai Rasau area with a measured reserve amounting to 20 million tonnes. This ball clay can be used in various clay-based whiteware industries such as sanitaryware, tiles and artware.
