| Summary, etc. | In December 1975 the Geological Survey conducted a shallow refraction seismic survey at Jalan Bayan Lepas-Sg. Ara, Penang. This was in response to a request by the J. K. R. to obtain a geological section at Ch 7800, Ch 5000 of the proposed road. The aim of this survey was to determine the rippability of the subsurface layers and the depth to the sound bedrock for the construction of the road. |
