Summary, etc. Besides tin and kaolin, Perak is also the largest producer of limestone in Malaysia. Whilst the rules and regulations pertaining to the prospecting and mining of tin are unambiguous, there are no definite policies regarding the exploitation of limestone. Despite the slow growth of this resouce - based industry, to date there are more than 50 limestone quarries in the state of Perak.
