| Summary, etc. | Abstract.<br/><br/>Geophysical survey using resistivity/IP techniques was conducted at Sungai Tarom, Setiu, Terengganu to delineate lineaments or geological structures which could be associated with gold mineralizations.<br/><br/>Geophysical responses were recorded which likely reflect the underlying geology. Several high chargeability anomalies were identified which could correlate with the mineralization. Unit 3 and unit 5 are the most typical anomalies, exhibiting high chargeability and relatively low resistivities. Unit 5 are observed at depth (30 to 40 meter) however unit 3 appear to be closer to the surface and could possibly be identified by geological mapping or shallow trenching. <br/> |
