Bantuan mencari terowong-terowong dengan kaedah magnet di kawasan tapak cadangan perumahan Polis Diraja Malaysia (PDRM), Gelugor, Pulau Pinang
Material type: TextPublisher: Ipoh, Perak: Jabatan Penyiasatan Kajibumi Malaysia, 1997Edition: GF 01/1997Description: ill. 7 p. 29.8 cmSummary: A ground magnetic survey was carried out at the proposed PDRM Housing Site, Gelugor, Penang for Jabatan Kerja Raya (unit Kerja Dalam Negeri) Kuala Lumpur. The objective of the survey was to map the suspected existence of tunnels in the area. The results of the magnetic survey indicate a wide range in residual magnetic intensity. Most of magnetic anonalies observed were caused by surface materials (example iron rods, zinc roofs, baked bricks and electric/telecommuncation poles). Thirteen of these anomalies are attributed to magnetic materials located at identified and are interpreted to be caused by shallow continuous structures (tunnel?). These are evident from the aligment of the low magnetic anomalies of small amplitudes.Item type | Current location | Call number | Status | Date due | Barcode | Item holds |
