Summary.
2-D electrical resistivity survey was carried out at Mentelong, Rompin, Pahang. Survey was carried out to identify subsurface lithology, to determine the depth to bedrock and to locate suitable sites for groundwater drilling.
The result of the survey sucessfully delineated several locations with medium resistivity area (50-150 ohm-m) probably represents area where water is more likely to be found. Several locations suitable for groundwater drilling were proposed.
