Most of the areas are cultivated and planted, predominantly with oil palm and rubber tress. Exposures of rocks are uncommon in the lowlands with the exception of the higher ground. Sedimentary rocks comprising of siltstone, sadstone, shales are mostly encounted. Quartzit are exposed in few localities. Generally the outcrops are weathered and the sedimentary rocks are interbedded.
