The clays found will initially be used to manufacture bricks and subsequently drainage pipes, floor and wall tiles, white were, and roofing tiles. These products will be needed for the development of townships 15, 16, 17 and 22. It has been anticipated that areas 750,000 bricks of standard size 9@ x 4 1/2@ x 3@ would be required. As such a suitable size and quality clay deposit with an adjacent site for a brick plant is required which will serve the proposed townships bearing in mind access and transportation costs.
