There is little doubt that the cause of the anomaly above the area drilled is the magnetic microdiorite encountered during drilling. Both because of the form of the aeromagnetic anomaly, and the rapid variations of intensity of the anomalies measured on the ground, therefore it appears likely that a number of small intrusions (possibly both dykes and sills) of similar rocks occur throughout the area.
