A total of 824 stream sediment, 613 concentrate and 90 rock samples were collected from the area of 920 km. Samples were analysed to determine the content of 18 elements namely as Ag, As, Au, Ba, Bi, Co, Cu, Fe, Hg, Mn, Mo, Ni, Pb, Sb, Sn, W, U, and Zn. The results of the geochemical analysis were process through statistical method to yield statistical parameter s for delineation of geochemical anomalies. A total of 11 multi element anomalous areas comprising about 16 percent of the total study srea had been identified. Out of the, eight anomolous areas located in the Map Sheet 42 while the remaining three in the Map Sheet 54. Two anomalous areas 4203 and 5402 had been proposed for follow up study. On the other hand anomalous area 4203 and 5402 also had been proposed for follow0up study for Au and Sn, Fe respectively. Based on the finding, it is recommended that these anomalous areas be given preference to any interested parties to carry out the follow-up works, particularly on Au, Sn and Fe which deserve attention.
